In 1993, with an eye for design but no practical experience, Ian Ferguson began working for Prince of Wales in Santa Monica, California; a company specializing in English and Welsh antiques and antique reproductions. With his natural skill and creativity, he created and ran their custom design department helping to expand the business by fifty percent in his first six months on the job. During the next six years, he had the opportunity to perfect his instinctual design talents and fulfill the unique needs of his Los Angeles clientele.

In 2001 Ian chose to strike out on his own and established his company Dig It Designs. For the past four years Dig It Designs has blossomed under the referrals of his exceptional clientele becoming a design focused on delivering high-end, unique, creative custom furniture and cabinetry spanning from old world sophistication to modern minimalism and eclectic charm. Regardless of the period or style, Dig It Designs prides itself on delivering one of a kind pieces specified to the client's dream for their home.
